Alpha Phi

Members of the Alpha Phi Chapter are now represented.

For our pressing chapter news, next year our small school has banned 1st year students from moving into Fraternities. We are currently trying to figure out ways to adapt to no freshmen. Any recruitment ideas are always appreciated.

You can still red shirt them until the following year. But that really sucks, no freshman.

Year round rush is an option mostly with rush dinners, events, parties, etc. At Baylor, we take sophomores in the fall but most of them are from our rush events and dinners in the spring before that. Hope this helps some but yeah, that sucks...

Isn't it just the fact that freshmen are not allowed to move into the house. Or is it that we're not allowed to present them a bid as well?

It's probably also that you can't give them an official bid. You can always extend them a "unofficial bid" and just bid them when term is over.
