Hey brothers across the country. I know everyone loves to have a good time and the social aspect of Pi Kappa Phi is extremely fun. lets talk about all your social ideas and what not. so ill start.

first off, my name is Derek and I am a founding father of the newly chartered (having our 1 year ani. this weekend actually) Theta Sigma chapter at Long Beach State.

we just had a party last weekend which was a ton of fun. no theme (we always have a theme so we decided to change it up) it was called Pi-Kappa-Palooza and it was badass.



one of the most successful exchanges we had this semester was called "B is for Bowling" and everyone dressed up as somethin that starts with a B for example i was a badmitton player. and we went cosmic bowling. extremely fun, girls had a great time.

Every year we host our Mud Bug Bash which is basically a HUGE event. Most of the local chapters near us will come up to Tyler for the event. Basically we have this huge area with a lakefront view and just cook craw fish, hot dogs, hamburgers etc. We also have games going on such as volleyball, slip n' slide, badminton, horse shoes, etc. And one of the main events we host out there is the boat party. We usually have 3 to 5 boats that cater people out for boat rides and wake boarding and skiing. We even had a few jet skis this year. It was a lot of fun, hopefully next year it will be even bigger.
